Classic Cranberry Mimosa
A Cranberry Mimosa is the best cocktail choice for a Christmas Brunch. You cannot go wrong! Sip one while you’re opening gifts in the morning, while you’re eating with family, or while you’re getting ready for a holiday party!
Ingredients:
1 tbsp cranberry juice
A splash of OJ
â…” cup champagne
Fresh cranberries for garnish
Directions:
Pour cranberry juice into a champagne flute and add a splash of OJ.
Add in your desired amount of champagne.
Garnish the mimosa with fresh cranberries and enjoy!
Rudolph’s Peppermint Hot Coco
One of my favorite ways to drink hot coco is with a Chocolate Liqueur. Make the kids their own batch of hot coco and then make the adults some Rudolph’s Peppermint Hot Coco!
Ingredients:
Peppermint Schnapps
1 tbsp Chocolate Liqueur
1 cup hot chocolate
Whipped cream
A cherry
2 Cinnamon sticks
Directions:
Make your favorite cup of hot coco however you like - just leave some extra room in your mug!
Add the Chocolate Liqueur and Peppermint Schnapps. If you like yours a bit more “peppermint-y”, add in an extra splash of Peppermint Schnapps!
Stir and top with whipped cream. Slice the cherry so it can sit on the edge of the mug for Rudolph’s nose and set the cinnamon sticks up for his ears.
Sip & enjoy!
White Christmas Sangria
Sangria is a classic crowd pleaser that never gets old! Make it your own by adding whatever fruit you have on hand. If you like it extra-sweet, a little extra sugar wouldn’t hurt!
Ingredients:
2 bottles of White Wine (Pinot Grigio and Riesling are great options! You can also mix them together for more flavors)
1 cup of sparkling apple cider
1-2 cups of cranberries
2 green apples chopped into chunks
1 pear chopped into chunks
Rosemary sprigs
Directions:
Chop up and add all of your fruit to the bottom of a large pitcher.
Pour in the wine and sparkling apple cider. Stir & taste! Add extra sugar now if it isn’t sweet enough.
The most important step: let it sit in the fridge! For at least 4 hours, keep it in the fridge to chill and for the fruit to release some of their flavors.
Stir before serving! To each individual glass, add in a few extra cranberries and a sprig of rosemary.
Enjoy!!
The The The…The Grinch!
I love “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and my family watches it at least a few times each year! This drink is dedicated to my favorite scene in the mailroom with Cindy Lou Who!
Ingredients:
1/2 oz Vodka
1/2 oz White Rum
1 oz Midori
Pineapple juice
Sprite
Directions:
Add your vodka, white rum, Midori, and pineapple juice into a shaker with ice & shake it up!
Rim a glass with green or red sugar and add in fresh ice.
Strain over the fresh ice and top with sprite.
Enjoy The The The…The Grinch!
Santa’s Shot
Nothing gets a party going like a jello shot! This Santa Hat Jello Shot tastes like a strawberry shortcake, keeping your party guests coming back for a few more!
Ingredients:
Small Strawberry gelatin pack
1 cup of water - boiling
1/2 cup of water - cold
1/2 cup of cake-flavored vodka
Strawberries
Whipped Cream
Directions:
Start creating the jello shots as normal. Let them set & firm!
While you’re waiting, slice the tops off of the strawberries.
Once the jello shots are set, top them with whipped cream and place a strawberry (upside-down) on top. Put a small bit of whipped cream on the tip of the strawberry for the fluffy-ball on top of Santa’s hat.
Enjoy!
