5 Ways to Reset your Mind and Body this Spring

I always feel my best when I start each morning with lemon water. I like to drink a cup of warm water with lemon first thing in the morning to reset my digestive system while hydrating my body for the day. It’s so great for anti-bloat, mind clarity, and great skin! I then fill up my large tumbler full of lemon water with a dash of stevia to drink throughout the day. 

Meditation and positive affirmations

Meditation doesn’t always have to look like an hour of yoga and deep reflection every day. For me, mediation is those few minutes before getting out of bed in the morning where I gather my thoughts for the coming day. It’s a few deep breaths in the middle of the day to regulate my emotions. It’s positive affirmations at the end of the day that encourage me to appreciate the things I have worked so hard for. Take a few moments during the day to meditate and see how much your life will change this season!

Salads with fresh fruits, hummus and vegetables, and a veggie omelet are the easiest ways for me to get more servings throughout the day!

The spring is a great time to declutter your digital life and give yourself less distractions. A few easy ways to do this is by deleting apps you no longer use, unsubscribing from junk mail, and unfollowing accounts on social media that don’t bring you daily joy and fulfillment. Don’t be afraid to download new apps that encourage healthier living and mindfulness while you're at it!
