6 Self Care Ideas for Fall

When summer comes to an end and the change of season begins, I feel like the business of my life seems to take charge. With baby girl’s arrival quickly approaching, Aimery going back to school, and all of the holidays coming up, it’s safe to say we are approaching a busy season of life! It’s important for me to focus on creating a new routine that compliments the change of seasons. Although I always make an effort to focus on my own self care, it seems to always take a back burner in the fall with my long list of other priorities. Some of my favorite ways to find time for self care in this season is through picking up a new fall candle, doing a face mask, and starting a gratitude journal. Looking to put yourself this season? STOCKING UP ON FALL CANDLES

Starting my mornings with my favorite fall candle and coffee always leaves me feeling ready to take on anything the day has in store for me. My favorite candles come out of hiding during the fall time, so I always make sure to stock up on my favorites. Give me all the ginger pumpkin candles please!

TRYING FEATURED COFFEES

When I think of Fall, I think of my favorite coffee. Obviously you know where I’m going with this... Treat yourself to that pumpkin spice latte! In all seriousness, whether it’s a salted caramel mocha, hot chocolate, or chai latte, having something as simple as a drink to look forward to is a great way to start the season well. The pumpkin cream cold brew is my absolute favorite right now!

MINDFUL SNACKING

I love finding snacks that I can take with me on the go, whether I’m heading into the office or running to preschool pickup! HAVING AN AT-HOME SPA DAY

Light your fall candles, grab a glass of your favorite wine, play your go-to feel good playlist, put on a face mask and start that bubble bath! I love at-home spa days because they’re relaxing and allow me to have time to myself.  It’s so important to have “me time” to reflect and relax.

GOING ON WALKS

Aimery and I have been loving to take Dimples on walks to get out of the house into some fresh air. In the fall time, I swear Aims only wants to go on walks with me so we can jump in piles of leaves around our neighborhood… but I’m not complaining because he knows fun when he sees it!
