Adlavie's Favorites: 3-6 Months Must Haves

It’s time for another Adlavie must have post! The first six months was an absolute blur with the lack of sleep and establishing new routines, but I’m happy to report that our family has found a new routine. I wrote about Adlavie’s newborn favorites for months 0-3 in this post, and you all found it really helpful! Over the last three months we have really found our tried and true products for Adlavie that makes our life easier with two kids. That being said, never feel like you need all of these things for your baby. All your baby really needs is you (and a few diapers 😉) Keep reading for our 3-6 month favorites!

FEEDING:

Silicone Bibs

These bibs are great because they are quick to clean after mealtimes, and help keep her snacks from falling to the floor.

Silicone Feeder

We love these silicone feeders because Adlavie is able to self-feed on fruit and vegetables without the chocking hazard. Great for teething, too!

Nomi High Chair

Although this high chair is an investment, you are able to use it from newborn-teen years. This chair allows Adlavie to be a part of the family dinner by not needing a tray.

Dr Browns Bottles

We tried a few of the most popular and aesthetic baby bottles, but Adlavie kept bringing us back to these. They were the same bottles we used with Aimery and I love how these have a vent that removes air from milk for less gassy babies. Over the last 3 months, she transitioned to the eight ounce bottles, which makes me wonder if buying the 4 oz ones were even necessary!

Baby Brezza

I stopped breastfeeding at two months so we have already got a lot of use out of this formula maker! It's like a Keurig for your baby, simply press a button to have the perfect bottle of formula. We upgraded to the Baby Breeza Pro Advanced Wifi so my mom could have one at her house. We honestly don’t use any of the wifi features but they are fun to have! The only downside is that some parts need cleaned 1-2 times a day and we are also refilling the water daily.

Bottle Warmer

We started out using an expensive bottle warmer only to have so many problems with it, including needing a replacement due to hard water backup and breastmilk bottles exploding… sometimes the simple options are the best! This one is $15 and hasn’t given us any issues.

SLEEPING:

Magic Sleep suit

If you follow me on Instagram then you know that Adlavie wore this suit every night between 4-5 months old. We transitioned her out of the SNOO and right into this sleep suit with no issues. She also looked like a little marshmallow in it, which was just too cute.

GEAR:

Diaper Bag Backpack

Ben received this backpack as a gift, and now we both use it every day! It is so functional with large and insulated pockets.

Car Mirror

I ordered this on the way home from the hospital and love that we can see Adlavie while in the car. Now that she’s older, she enjoys talking to herself in the mirror too!

Diaper Genie

We’ve used the diaper genie for both kids and it’s a great way to dispose of diapers!

Owlet Monitor Duo

This has been my favorite baby product this time around. I have endless peace of mind knowing that Adlavie is sleeping safely through the night. Ben and I both have the Owlet app on our phones where we are able to see/hear her on the monitor while also tracking her heart and lung stats through her smart sock. Both the base and the app will loudly alarm us if her stats fall under her normal readings. Ben is a really sound sleeper and he even woke up the one time her stats went down!

Lovevery Play Kits + Activity Gym

We love everything from Lovery! The activity gym has been so fun for Adlavie as it has 5 Montessori-inspired development zones that take Adlvaie from tummy time to play fort! The toys are made with 100% organic cotton and non-toxic paint. We also love their play kits subscription boxes that include play essentials for each stage of development.

Pacifiers

These BPA-free pacifiers are made in Denmark and are Adlavie’s favorite! They mimic both the shape and soft materials of mothers’ breast while having a classic look that’s both timeless and elegant!

Baby Carrier

Once she was about 6-8 weeks old, we transitioned her to this carrier and have been using it every day since. Ben wears her using this carrier multiple times a day still!

CHANGING

Diaper Cream Applicator

You can’t beat this $4 changing table necessity! It makes it easy to use diaper cream without getting your hands dirty! It’s gentle on baby’s skin and has a suction base.

Triple Paste

The only thing we found to help prevent and treat Adlavie’s diaper rash was coconut oil and this rash cream! Most of the ones on the market broke out her sensitive skin.

FURNITURE

Delta Crib

This convertible crib converts to a toddler bed, daybed, and sofa! It has pretty gold accents that really stand out as well.

Mattress

We love this mattress because it’s 100% washable, non toxic, and breathable.

Delta Dresser

We went with this dresser because it easily converts to a changing table! We always go with Delta dressers for both kids because they always include anchor systems to keep the dresser anchored to the wall and our babies safe.

Swivel Glider Recliner

One of the most important things you need in a nursery is a comfortable chair! This one rocks, swivels, glides, and reclines while being so cozy! Make sure to grab the 20% off coupon!

CAR SEAT AND STROLLER

Maxi Cosi Travel System

We upgraded to the Maxi Cosi Tayla XP Travel System and it gives us a seamless transition from car to stroller. The design is really cool and so lightweight!
