Cheesy Meatball Bites

This post was sponsored by Carando as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

We have been absolutely loving this easy meatball bites recipe - it’s the best appetizer to bring for family get togethers, thanksgiving, or even a homegate now that football season is here! With only four ingredients and less than 30 minutes of cooking time, this recipe is so easy to make and will WOW any size crowd. Ben and I love making these together for nights at home, and I’m pretty sure he could eat an entire plate of them himself!

For this recipe, we used fresh Carando meatballs, since they have robust italian flavors and are conveniently ready to be cooked! All Carando products are high quality and use premium Italian ingredients, and can be found in the refrigerated section of the meat department of your local grocery store. You can make so many under 30-minute recipes using Carando meatballs, this cheesy meatball bites recipe is just one of the many we enjoy! Keep reading for the recipe!

Cheesy Meatball Bites

What you’ll need…

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating oven to 375 degrees F. Generously spray a muffin pan with non-stick spray.

  2. Cook Abruzzese Italian Style Meatballs according to directions on package. For this recipe, I cooked meatballs on the stovetop on medium-high heat, for about 2 minutes per side.

  3. While meatballs are cooking, unroll crescent dough. Separate the dough into 2 large sections by cutting along the perforated edge. Using a pizza roller makes this part easier! Then, cut each of the large sections into thirds. Next, cut those sections down the middle, so that you have 12 squares total.

  4. Press each square into the muffin cups, while attempting to press down into the cup and up the edges.

  5. Next, spoon 1-2 teaspoons of marinara sauce into the bottom of each crescent dough cup. Follow with a large sprinkle of mozzarella cheese. Place 1 meatball into the center of each cup before spooning another 1-2 teaspoons of marinara sauce on top of the meatball. Sprinkle with more mozzarella cheese, if desired.

  6. Bake for 15-17 minutes, or until crescent dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

Enjoy!
