It is my favorite time of year - Thanksgiving! Like I wrote about in this post, Thanksgiving is our favorite family holiday and we love to celebrate together. Before all of my family comes into town this week, I decided to get some of my friends together over the weekend to throw a last minute Friendsgiving. I am so thankful for all the friends that have come into my life over the last year, so what better way to show them how grateful I am then by throwing a Friendsgiving for them!
Since I decided to create a last minute Friendsgiving, I decided to go with simple, minimalist decorations. I love neutral colors like gray, white, and greens - and it was simply beautiful! I picked up a gray table runner and grabbed greenery and candles from a local craft store. I love grabbing items that I can use all year round in my own home! I went the same way with the recipes I decided to cook for my friends. For our main dish, I made a Hatfield Baked Brown Sugar Ham, and it was so yummy and easy to cook! I LOVE finding recipes that are classic, since I know that everyone will love them!
Whether you are planning a big or small holiday meal, Hatfield makes it easier to serve up a delicious, ethically raised meal for your family and friends. I love that Hatfield offers new, smaller ham products available in Hatfield® ½ Pre-Sliced Pit Ham, ¼ Pre-Sliced Ham (With Natural Juices or With Water Added) for smaller gatherings like our Friendsgiving! Hatfield pre-sliced ham is so easy to prepare since it is already sliced! Hatfield Ham is a holiday staple in our home this season. Our favorite is this Baked Brown Sugar Ham recipe!
