How to Make a Breakfast Board

This post is sponsored by Betty Crocker™ , but all opinions are my own.

What’s the best meal of the day? If you said anything other than breakfast, you’re wrong! Breakfast foods have got to be my all time favorite. I especially love nights when we have breakfast for dinner! I have so many great memories growing up going out in the morning to grab some coffee and chocolate chip pancakes with family at a local diner. Although, now that I have kids of my own, I’d like to create some new memories with them. Now that Aimery is out of school for the year, we have more time in the mornings to make fun breakfast foods that also fuel our bodies.

First up on my breakfast list: a Breakfast Charcuterie Board! Charcuterie boards have been everywhere lately. They cover my feed with delicious cheeses, meat roses, and crackers beautifully spread across the board. I love making them, but it’ll be fun to switch it up with breakfast foods! When I was thinking about where I wanted to start, I kept coming back to a classic brand that I grew up on, Betty Crocker™ . Betty Crocker™ was a trusted staple for morning pancakes back then, so it’s the perfect addition now. Plus, the new resealable packaging is everything I’ve ever wanted in a pancake mix bag. Their buttermilk pancakes are always light and fluffy, even though they are so easy to make by just adding water or milk. You can grab the new Betty Crocker™ Resealable Pancake Bags in-store and online at Walmart here https://bit.ly/3vqilcg . The package can make about 40 pancakes, so bring on the biggest board you’ve got and let’s make this Breakfast Charcuterie Board!

Mini Pancakes

Mini pancakes are perfect for a breakfast board because they’re finger sized so you can grab a few. The Betty Crocker™ Buttermilk Complete Pancake Mix is the best for consistently yummy pancakes, so of course we’re using it. I added some chocolate chips and blueberries to add variety, while also helping out that sweet tooth!

Fruit

Fruit is an obvious choice for this board. Strawberries, blueberries, banana slices, apple slices, grapes, and oranges are only a portion of the delicious fruit that you can add. Plus, the color that it gives the board is everything!

Syrup

Syrup is a must if we’re having pancakes and waffles! A tiny bowl in the corner would fit nicely for dipping. Shhhh, I won’t tell if you double dip!

Yogurt + Granola

If you have holes you need to fill in, granola can help. You can also add a bowl of yogurt to put your granola on. This adds a nice variety to the board so that it can include lighter options.

Bacon+ Sausage

Adding a few slices of crispy bacon or links of sausage could be fun for anyone who eats meat. The bacon can be cut in half so that the smaller pieces are easier to work with. Remember to be careful of the grease that comes with meat so that it doesn’t ruin your other beautiful work!

Hard Boiled Eggs

Something else to consider is this great source of protein, so eggs are making it on the list. Hard boiled eggs can be sliced and placed to make a gorgeous arrangement that makes this breakfast board pop. Plus, they have some good nutrients so we can’t go wrong!

Avocado Slices

Avocado makes its way into almost all of my recipes and I’m not mad about it. It’s just so good! If you have been too afraid to take a bite, add some to your breakfast board and try it out. Even if you don’t like it, it makes for a cute pic!

If you’re anything like me, breakfast foods have your heart. The Betty Crocker™ brand has been around my house for as long as I can remember, so it’s no shock that I constantly keep my pantry stocked with their products. The new resealable pancake bags are every mother’s dream, so I was thrilled to see them on my shelves at Walmart! Are you a breakfast fan? Let me know down below! Find them online here!
