In celebration of Cars Day this week on February 11th, we decided to throw a Pixar Cars party for Aimery and all of his friends! You guys know that we’ll take any excuse to party, so throwing a Pixar Cars party seemed like a really fun idea! Aimery has recently become obsessed with watching Cars and totally freaked out over his new Mattel Disney Pixar Cars. I picked up his favorite cars (no other then Lightning McQueen and Mater), along with the rest of the new collection for his friends at the party!

You can grab this new collection of Pixar Cars at Walmart in the toy/collectables aisle! I have always dreamed of hosting get-togethers with fun themes for Aimery and his friends, so it was just super fun being able to bring all of this together and see how excited all the kids were to open their new cars. Keep reading for how I put this Pixar Cars party all together!

HEALTHY SNACKS

Whenever I host play dates or parties with toddlers invited, I always make sure to put out healthier snack options that they will love! For this party, I put strawberries, blueberries, carrot sticks, and crackers on a board and also put out tortilla chips and popcorn in a bowl. I made it fun by placing Pixar Cars on the fruit tray and in the snack bowls - Aimery thought it was sooo funny to see Mater digging his way out of the popcorn! Aimery’s friends loved the snacks and more importantly, their moms were happy they weren’t leaving with a sugar crash. 😉

PARTY DECOR

I picked up this Pixar Car themed party decor at Walmart and also picked up some Lightning McQueen colored balloons on our way home. I went with a yellow, black, red, and white color scheme since those are Cars colors! I always try to keep party decor to a minimum, so these Cars plates and bowls were perfect to add to the table! I also grabbed some red party cups and paper straws, and of course - fun confetti!

PARTY FAVORS

On every place setting, I left each of Aimery’s friends a new Pixar Car toy. Like I mentioned above, I picked up this new collection of toys at Walmart in the toys/collectable aisle and it was a total hit! I love giving small gifts as party favors because it gives something for the kids to play with after eating and they have something fun to bring home for endless hours of fun!
