- Begin by adding whiskey, blood orange juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white into a cocktail shaker.
- Dry shake for 15-30 seconds. Then add ice, and shake well for 15-30 seconds, or until chilled.
- To brûlée, cut the blood orange into slices. Pat slices dry on a paper towel. Sprinkle the orange slices with sugar to coat, and then torch the orange slices until golden and edges begin to blacken.
- Pour cocktail in a chilled glass, and garnish with brûlée orange slice. Enjoy!
