A couple of weeks ago we traveled to Orlando to spend the week with some of my best blogger friends and their families. We stayed together in an eight bedroom house at Encore Resort with our own private pool, and it was just the vacation I needed! It was so fun being able to finally meet the girls I have been following on Instagram for over a year. Most of our kids were around the same age, so it was great having them all together to play. And of course, I loved being able to spend quality time with Ben and Aimery.

Encore Resort at Reunion offers amenities such as their own on-site waterpark, kid’s play room, and several dining options. One night, we even had an in-home demonstration chef come and prepare a meal, which a few of us got to try! This service would be such a great fit for couples or small families. If you do have a chef come to your home, be sure to order the salted caramel cheesecake, it was so decadent and delicious.

Additionally, Finn’s Restaurant was great for our family as they had yummy options for kids and are open until 9pm during the week. Aims loved their flatbread pizza, and I loved their piña colada!  It was the perfect stop for dinner after a day spent at the waterpark. After dinner, we always went back to the house to swim for the rest of the night. It was the perfect way to spend every evening since the waterpark closes at 6pm.

Encore is a great place to stay for almost any group of people, with rentals ranging in size from 3-13 bedrooms. Because of our larger party and therefore limited beds, it was great that they also offer rollaway beds and cribs for infants! When packing, keep in mind that Encore Resort supplies the utensils, plates and bowls. There was a Walmart nearby, which was so convenient for all of the little things we needed such as poolside snacks, trash bags, and salt. Since they don’t offer daily house cleaning, we also picked up laundry pods during our shopping trip so we could have fresh towels and sheets using our very own washer and dryer throughout our stay.

Not only was Encore Resort a destination in itself, but it is also only about 30 minutes from Orlando’s largest attractions such as Disney World, Universal Orlando, and Seaworld. Tip: Make sure to give yourself extra time to get to your destination in the morning as there is a decent amount of morning traffic, which can take over half an hour. Encore also provides a shuttle to and from the attractions, which is convenient if you decide not to bring or rent a car.
