Garlic and Sausage Pesto Flatbread, Three Ways
This post is sponsored by Nature’s Own.
As a busy mama, I may not have the time to make gourmet food from scratch every single night. Whether I’m running the kids around town, working from home, or getting chores done around the house, there seems to be never enough time in the day. If you’re anything like me, the mom guilt can sometimes kick in, but I stop it because I know that I can create delicious and healthy options that my family loves. I may not have the the time to make gourmet food from scratch, but that doesn't mean our food can't taste like it is gourmet, right!? Dinner is the perfect bonding time for our family because we are able to share about our days, how we’re feeling, and anything new that happened. Therefore, I want to make sure our meals aren’t boring and bland for those special moments. Finding unique options can inspire kids to try new things, too! It helps to slowly introduce them to new foods that they otherwise wouldn’t have tried.
It was finally time to up my dinner game with this Garlic and Sausage Pesto Flatbread recipe. It turned out great and the whole family loved it. My favorite part of it all is that more time was spent enjoying my family, rather than slaving away in the kitchen over dinner and dirty dishes. In this recipe, I use the Nature’s Own Perfectly Crafted Artisan Flats, Bistro Flats, and Snack Flats. They make the perfect base for this meal, so you can choose which type suits you depending on your family’s preference. They’re a blank canvas waiting for you to use your imagination on! It is obvious that you can’t go wrong! Almost every recipe can be modified to fit any of the three flats options, which is why they’re a staple in my pantry. I like to experiment and try to use different ingredients that I already have, that way nothing goes to waste! It’s a win-win!
Aimery also loves to lend me a helping hand while I cook, so I often give him small tasks like laying on the cheese to help him gain more independence. The flats are super easy to work with, so kids of all ages can help create the meal. Together, Aims and I are going to make this Garlic and Sausage Pesto Flatbread that tastes like a million bucks! Keep reading for the recipe.
