How to Create a Holiday Gift Basket for Teachers

It’s baby month! With baby girl’s arrival quickly approaching, we’ve been doing our best to get ahead on shopping and preparing for gift-giving this holiday season. Aimery is back in school and is loving every minute he spends there, he comes home telling Ben and me all about how much fun he’s having every day! It’s honestly so cute hearing him talk about his friends and teachers with so much love and respect at such a young age. Since we’ve been actively getting ready for the holidays so early, Aims has been such a big help. The other day, Aimery came home from school asking if we could put together small gift baskets for his teachers for the holidays and I just couldn’t say no! With everything going on in our crazy world right now and teachers putting their lives at risk to educate our kids, I feel like we should be doing all that we can to show how appreciative we are of them and what they’re doing for our kids. Keep reading to see what we’re putting in these holiday baskets and how Softsoap® Body Wash is helping us bring them to life! All Softsoap Body Wash varieties are formulated without parabens and phthalates, which I love!
BASKET
Since we’re making holiday-themed gift baskets, we obviously need baskets! Walmart always has great options so we headed straight to ours to find the perfect one. We decided on a simple wire basket that will hold everything we plan to give Aimery’s teacher. Aims is so excited to give them to his teachers already!
BLANKET
I wanted to switch things up a little with this year’s gift baskets by adding a comfortable throw blanket to them! With the seasons changing and the weather dropping, blankets are a must right now, and they fill up the basket so well!
COFFEE MUG
Coffee gets us all through the days and I can only imagine how much coffee Aimery’s teachers are needing right now. We decided to pick up gold coffee mugs and gift cards to a local coffee shop, so his teachers could enjoy some holiday coffee on us!
WALMART GIFT CARD
What you may not know is that teachers oftentimes have to spend their own money on supplies for their classrooms! Every year, we try to give Aimery’s teacher’s gift cards to stores that sell school supplies so that they can get any supplies they may need. It’s just one small way for us to say thank you!
