OUR FAVORITE BANANA BREAD

What you’ll need…

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1 tablespoon milk

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, or to taste

  • ½ cup butter, softened

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips (or less, OR MORE! Can’t go wrong here 😉)

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating oven to 325 degrees F. Prepare a 9x5-inch loaf pan by greasing with oil. Glass pans work best for us!

  2. Begin by mixing flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix bananas, milk, and cinnamon. In a third bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Add the eggs to the butter mixture one at a time, until beat. Then, stir banana mixture into the butter mixture. Add in dry mixture until blended. Fold in chocolate chips until combined. Pour the batter into prepared loaf pan.

  4. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before serving!

Enjoy!
