Things to do and eat at Woodloch Resort

This weekend we took a spring getaway to Woodloch Resort! Our family has been traveling to Woodloch every year as it gives us the best opportunity to unplug and connect, while enjoying lots of activities and entertainment the whole family can enjoy. It’s just 3 hours from Lancaster, making it a great getaway! I can see why the all inclusive resort has been voted the #1 resort in the US! Looking for a fun, family resort in the Poconos? ACCOMODATIONS
Woodloch family resort offers all-inclusive accommodations for families of any size with both guest rooms and vacation rental homes. We always stay in their one bedroom suite, and love how central it is to everything at the resort. There are two full bathrooms, two queen beds, one queen pullout couch, and one regular couch, plenty of room for our family of four! The fitness center, indoor pool, and indoor kids pool/splash zone are all attached to the same building, making it so convenient for our little kids!
RESORT AMENITIES
There is so much for every age to do at Woodloch, any time of the year! Some amenities we especially enjoyed were the adventure playground, archery, arts & crafts room, kids club room, climbing wall, go karts, and boat tour! They also have a daily activity schedule that includes plenty to do during the day!
ACTIVITIES & ENTERTAINMENT
Woodloch offers over 30 scheduled events everyday so there’s always something to do! Participate in the Olympics, horse racing, archery tag, bakery wars, fitness classes and more around set meal times, that are all included in your package! Every night we headed to the nightclub for entertainment, including a theme night and comedy show. We had the best time!
DINING
When you stay at Woodloch, a meal plan with 2-3 meals per day is included in your package. The meals change daily and offer so many options even for our picky kids! I love that they partner with vendors to purchase regionally grown products - or even harvesting at their own farm! During our stay we enjoyed incredible seafood, fresh salads, nourishing breakfasts, and incredible desserts (order the mudpie!).
SPA
During our stay at the family resort, I went just a few minutes down the road to the Lodge at Woodloch and spent the afternoon at the award-winning destination spa. With their philosophy of personal awakening, I always feel reconnected after my time at the spa. They offer an eucalyptus steam room, dry sauna, Hydromassage WaterWalls, indoor and outdoor whirlpools, indoor pool, snow room, and Himalayan salt sauna. I received their signature 100 minute Rosemary Awakening service, which includes a body polish, full body Swedish massage, and scalp massage. It was incredible and so relaxing!
If you are looking for your next family vacation, I absolutely recommend going to Woodloch! Learn more here.
