50 Mother's Day Gift Ideas She Really Wants

Yesterday, we took a quick Instagram poll on stories to see what you wanted most for Mother’s Day. I was surprised to find out that the majority (I’m talking over 60%) of the moms out there wanted both material items and nonmaterial gifts this Mother’s Day. It’s no doubt that Mother’s Day this year is going to look different for moms everywhere - as it’s just another day at home while living in uncertainty. My hope is that we all still take the time to make it special for the moms in our lives!

MATERIAL GIFTS

Along with the poll about what kind of gifts moms wanted this Mother’s Day, we also asked you to list exactly what you wanted this year. We had an overwhelming response for two items - personalized jewelry and things to use for later! It seems like a lot of us just want pretty things and a spa day when all of this is over, which who could disagree with that? Here is a list of all material items we want for mother’s day, including ideas for jewelry and gift certificates!

Personalized jewelry - jewelry with birth stones, rings engraved with your children’s names, stackable rings, initial necklaces and bracelets, pandora charm bracelets

Things for later - think manicures/pedicures, a spa day, salon cut and color, massage, and spa day

NON-MATERIAL GIFTS

When it comes to non-material gifts, I wanted to hear exactly what you wanted from your spouse and kids this year. Be sure to communicate your expectations beforehand (whether verbally or sharing this post 🤪) to ensure you are getting the Mother’s Day you are dreaming off! The top two things you really want for mothers day? Sleep and time alone. Wouldn’t that be nice?! Here’s some more ideas!
