Authentic Italian Tiramisu

My favorite holiday tradition is making authentic tiramisu ✨ It's perfect for any last minute get togethers or family parties this week! Made with only six ingredients - I shopped at my local Price Rite and found everything I needed at great price. Save the recipe below!

What you'll need -
30 ladyfinger cookies
16 oz mascarpone cheese
4 medium eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup of granulated sugar (I used Bowl & Basket)
1 1/2 cups of coffee

Instructions -
1. Begin by making the coffee and then set aside to cool.

2. Using two medium mixing bowls, separate the egg yolks from the egg whites.

3. In the egg yolk bowl, add the salt and then gently fold in mascarpone.

4. In the egg white bowl, beat and then gradually add in sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold in the egg yolk mixture into the egg white bowl until creamy.

5. Prepare your casserole dish and quickly dip each of the ladyfingers into the coffee then arrange at the bottom of the dish. Spread half the cream mixture on top of the soaked ladyfingers and then repeat one more time.

6. Chill at least overnight (can also be enjoyed after 1-2 days).

Enjoy!
