This past week we took a staycation to Ocean City, Maryland for a summer getaway! Just being around three hours from Lancaster, it was the perfect distance to get away with little kids. This was a trip to remember - it was Adlavie’s first time seeing the ocean and although we have been to Ocean City many times before, we had the opportunity to see lots of new sights and attractions!
Read MoreA couple weeks ago Ben and I drove into the city for an overnight getaway! The two of us don’t get away without Aimery often, as this was only our second trip without him this year! I often take for granted the fact that we’re only a few hours away from New York City, so it was great having the opportunity to tour a city so close to us. It definitely made for the perfect staycation! With the craziness of the upcoming holidays, it was good for Ben and I to connect before holiday parties and events!
Read MoreOver a month ago, we were working on a secret project for a popsicle company. They needed us to shoot campaign content in early May, so it was really hard for us to find somewhere with an open pool! Thankfully, Eden Resort opened their outdoor heated pool and Kidz Water Zone the weekend before, so we were able to book a night at their resort to create content. Eden Resort is just a short 30 minute drive from our home, and I absolutely loved being able to get away for the night without all of the travel that comes with normal vacations! I never understood the concept of a staycation until our trip to Eden, but let me tell ya, I’m a huge fan! ESPECIALLY with kids, staycations are where it’s at!
