A couple weeks ago Ben and I drove into the city for an overnight getaway! The two of us don’t get away without Aimery often, as this was only our second trip without him this year! I often take for granted the fact that we’re only a few hours away from New York City, so it was great having the opportunity to tour a city so close to us. It definitely made for the perfect staycation! With the craziness of the upcoming holidays, it was good for Ben and I to connect before holiday parties and events!

We stayed at the Lord & Moris, a Times Square Hotel that provides quick and easy access to New York’s finest attractions and most iconic landmarks. Our hotel was nestled away on 39th Street and less than a mile from places like Madison Square Garden and the Empire State Building! I had visited the Empire State Building as a kid, but this was Ben’s first time! We decided to do the VIP All-Access Tour of the ESB and I’m so glad we did, it was an experience we will NEVER forget! After our tour, we grabbed a quick dinner at Whirled Peas – which is an unique pop-up experience in the city where culture, food and friends unite to eat lots and lots of hummus! We then took an Uber to the Rockefeller Center to ice skate - which has been on Ben and I’s bucket list for the longest time. It was definitely worth the hype! We then took a short walk to Times Square to go shopping before making our way back to our hotel.

After a long day it was nice to walk back to our hotel, which was just a couple of blocks away. This place would be perfect if you are looking for a budget stay close to Times Square. Since it is the city that never sleeps, this would be ideal for a solo or couples trip. The property amenities include free WiFi, a business center and a 24-Hour front desk staff. There was also free water in the lobby as well as morning coffee, which was great to grab for the road.

Additionally, we were sent a package from BabbleBoxx to elevate our time in New York including bath salts, water bottle, planner, candle, phone charger! We were able to plan our trip, stay hydrated, relaxed, and connected during our time in NYC thanks to this sweet care package.

In the city that never sleeps, our Times Square boutique hotel offers just what you need to make your New York City stay productive and cost-effective. Whether you’re in a strategically designed bunk bed room or one of their Kings, all of the rooms come fully equipped with a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, bedding and linens. I love how they make the rooms modern with contemporary furniture and rugs.
