I make these chocolate chip pumpkin muffins every year, and this year I absolutely perfected the recipe. The pumpkin crumble will have your home smelling so delicious, they are the perfect transition into fall!
Simply add your dry ingredients with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves to your wet ingredients with a can of pumpkin., and don’t forget o chop up your chocolate to get those little bits into the batter!!

- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 6 or 12 cup muffin tin, or line with paper liners. This recipe will give you 12 jumbo muffins or 24 regular muffins.
- In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients; flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and oil, water, and pumpkin purée. Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients, mix to combine.
- Stir chocolate into the batter, being mindful not to over mix.
- Make your crumble topping by combining the flour, brown sugar, sugar, butter, and pumpkin pie spice in a medium bowl.
- Finally, scoop batter into muffin tins and top with crumble topping. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until completely baked. Cool for 10 minutes in the muffin tins, before removing fully to cool.
