Greek Lamb Meatballs
This greek lamb meatballs bowl was inspired by my recent CAVA order - I’ve been going so much lately so I tried making it for myself at home and it didn’t disappoint! These meatballs could be paired with just about anything but I went with turmeric rice and naan with hummus, chopped cucumber, tomato, and avocado! Seriously try it!
What you’ll need —
1 pound gound lamb
1/4 cup red onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 large egg
1/4 cup feta cheese
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 tbsp milk
3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tsp oregano
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne
Serve with: turmeric rice, naan, hummus, cucumber, tomato, avocado, and tzatziki
Instructions —
1. Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.
2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients with your hands until mixed.
3. Using a cookie scoop, measure out your meatballs into 2 tablespoon sized balls and place into air fryer, spacing about 2 inches apart. You should have about 12-15 lamb meatballs.
4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Enjoy!
