WOODLOCH RESORT - THE BEST ALL-INCLUSIVE FAMILY RESORT IN THE POCONOS
Thank you Poconos Tourism + Woodloch Resort for partnering with me. Thank you for supporting the brands who support this blog. As always, opinions are only my own.
A few weeks ago, we took a vacation to Woodloch Resort in the Pocono Mountains to enjoy some time away! This fall has already has been a busy one for us, so taking a vacation to the best all-inclusive family resort in the Poconos was much needed. I love having the opportunity to travel with Aimery, because it allows me to put all of my attention on him while we do fun things together! We made so many great memories over the weekend - it was a vacation we will never forget!
We arrived at Woodloch Resort on Friday in time to check in to our one bedroom Edgewater Suite before heading to dinner. Our suite is perfect for families with kids, because there is space for everyone! This suite can accommodate at least six people with two queen beds, queen sofa sleeper, and another couch in living room. We also had two bathrooms, two TVs, and a balcony with a view of the lake. After dropping off our bags, we went to have dinner in the main dining room.
Part of the all-inclusive family package at Woodloch is dining on the American Plan, which is 2-3 meals per day in the dining room! The menu changes daily and is offered you to by a friendly wait staff. Woodloch focuses on providing farm to table meals by purchasing locally grown products - and everything we tried was delicious! Aimery especially loved the kid’s pizza! After dinner, we took a walk along the beautiful Lake Teedyuskung before getting Aimery back to our suite for bedtime.
I decided to wake up early on Saturday morning early so we would have time to explore both Woodloch Resort and go on a local train ride! The Stourbridge Line offers scenic train rides in the Northern Poconos. You can read more about our experience and see more photos of our train ride, here.
After our scenic train ride, we were excited to head back to Woodloch for an outdoor lunch! They had so much food for everyone to enjoy - from hot dogs for the kids to clams for the adults! After sitting on a train all morning, it was great for Aimery to be able to eat and run around outside. They also had a petting zoo which was probably one of Aimery’s favorite experiences of the weekend - he loved the rabbit!
In the afternoon, I decided it would be fun to go on Woodloch’s boat tour of Lake Teedyuskung. It was the perfect day to be out on the lake and our guide answered all of our questions about the resort and the history of the lake. Along with boat tours, you can also go water skiing, swimming, and water sliding on the lake during the summer months! In the winter, Olympics puts the ice to good use!
Although Woodloch has a ton of lakeside activities, they also have a bunch of other fun things to do! Go karts, climbing wall, playgrounds, mini golf, and indoor and outdoor pools are only a few things that Woodloch has to offer! For the rest of October, they are also hosting Spooktacular Midweeks that feature a haunted hayride! They always have so many fun activities going on. After our boat tour, I took Aimery to the indoor slash zone and spent a few hours relaxing in the pools.
In the fall, Woodloch has theme nights on Wednesdays and Saturdays where everyone gets dressed up and eats amazing food while enjoying that years theme! At the end of each theme night meal, dressed up characters will get you excited about the nightly performance at the night club!
We spent the rest of our weekend relaxing and playing at the indoor forest playground and toodler playroom. I absolutely loved spending the weekend at Woodloch because they provided so much for Aimery to do. I am always keeping Aimery busy, so being able to try out a ton of different activities made the weekend so fun for everyone! We will definitely be heading back to Woodloch Resort again soon!
Thanks again for having us, Poconos Tourism + Woodloch Resort!
