THE STOURBRIDGE LINE - SCENIC TRAIN RIDES OF THE NORTHERN POCONOS
Thank you Poconos Tourism + Stourbridge Line for partnering with me. Thank you for supporting the brands who support this blog. As always, opinions are only my own.
A few weeks ago, we stayed at Woodloch Resort in the Pocono Mountains for a weekend getaway! While we were at Woodloch, I decided it would be fun to take Aimery to a local scenic train ride. Aimery has been obsessed with trains lately and I knew he was going to be SO excited about finally going on one! The Stourbridge Line is a short 30 minute drive from where we were staying, so it made for a fun Saturday morning adventure! Stourbridge offers scenic train rides in the Northern Poconos. We departed from the Honesdale Station and rode along the Lackawaxen River to the Hawley station and back. Having a two year old, I’m glad that I decided to go with the shorter 1.5 hour train ride since toddlers don’t have long attention spans! If you plan to take the train with younger kids, consider planning your ride during one of Stourbridge’s fun events to keep your little ones more entertained!
