After having both of my kids, I noticed a big change in my skin. I found that postpartum, my skin was more itchy, dry, and sensitive than ever before. When you’re postpartum, your hormones decide to have a field day and are constantly all over the place. This can affect hair texture and thickness, mood, skin texture, weight, and so much more. While I can’t tackle all of these changes at once, I decided to start with my biggest issue: my skin.
Read MoreIt’s been three beautiful months since Adlavie came into our lives, and I’m finally feeling up to writing her birth story! What a crazy year it has been between my pregnancy and adjusting to having a newborn again. Ben and I decided to start trying for a baby last winter and had a positive pregnancy test after about three months! I was very excited and nervous going into this pregnancy because of how stressful my pregnancy and delivery was with Aimery. When I was pregnant with Aimery, I was measuring very small and almost needed to be induced out of fear that he stopped growing at six months of pregnancy. I also had prodromal labor with him for the weeks leading up to his birth, and had a traumatic, natural labor with him for over 12 hours. Everything combined made me extremely nervous with how my pregnancy and delivery would be with Adlavie, but thankfully I had a much better experience with this pregnancy.

I also love being able to have Ben involved in feeding times so there isn’t so much pressure on me. Today I’m sharing 10 things that I use everyday while exclusive pumping. Keep reading for my pumping mom must haves!

Read MoreAs a soon to be second time mama, I feel like I have a leg up with how to prepare for baby number two. While I am no expert, I wanted to share how I’ve been getting ready for her arrival in just a few short weeks. Many moms spend their time getting ready for their labor, delivery, and bringing the baby home, that they completely forget to prepare a postpartum care kit. I’ll be the first to say that I was not prepared AT ALL for postpartum with Aimery - so I’ve learned my lesson for this time around. No matter how you deliver, you’ll need postpartum supplies to get you through the recovery period better. If not for you, these would make for an amazing gift for any first time mom that you may know. I do know that you can buy postpartum kits online, but I prefer making my own so I can pick and choose what products and brands to go onto my cart. Keep reading for everything on my cart!
