SNACK IDEAS FOR PICKY TODDLERS AT WHOLE FOODS MARKET

This post was written in partnership with Whole Foods Market, but all opinions are my own.

Aimery started to become a picky eater around his second birthday. It came as such a surprise to me since he never fought me about food before! When he first started eating solids, he would eat anything that I made for him. Well, not anymore. Aimery recently went through a phase of only wanting to eat yogurt and chicken nuggets for every single meal. After a week of that, I decided it was time to find some healthier options that he would enjoy eating. And most importantly, options that I would enjoy him eating!

Finding nutritious snack options for Aimery is always difficult since I try to find them available for him to eat while on the go. We are always traveling or running errands, so finding quick and nutritious snack options that I can toss back to him in the car is a must! Now that there is a Whole Foods Market local to us in Lancaster, I’ve been going grocery shopping for us there weekly. I always add these snack options to my list for Aimery:

  • Grapes, Blueberries, Carrot Sticks

  • Rice Cakes, Whole Grain Bagels, Crackers

  • Cheddar Cheese, Honey Yogurt, Almond Butter

  • Red Pepper Hummus (Crazy, I know! Most toddlers love hummus!)

  • Protein Bars, Granola Bars

  • Mama Bear Organic Baby Food

Mama Bear Organic Baby Food is the easiest way for me to “sneak” Aimery extra servings of fruits and vegetables every day. Mama Bear only uses organic fruit and vegetables. These organic, wholesome recipes are packed with tons of goodness! Even Aimery loves every single Mama Bear flavor - and he’s the most picky toddler I know! But I don’t blame him, because they taste great! Don’t tell me I’m the only mom who steals her kid’s snacks. 😉
