Anyone else starting to feel like the news is getting a little bit out of hand with information about the Coronavirus? Honestly, I am already sick of all the viral articles I keep seeing on social media with inconsistent information. How Essilor Vision Foundation Gives Free Glasses to Children Across the U.S.

I first started showing signs of needing glasses when I was in elementary school. What started off as blurry vision when reading quickly turned into not being able to see at a distance. By the time I was in high school, I required glasses for everyday tasks and to drive. I know from personal experience that poor eyesight affects every part of life - from learning to overall confidence. I was lucky to have parents that could afford my yearly visits to the eye doctor and to constantly buy me new pairs of glasses when I needed a new prescription or broke them as a child. I know that it’s pretty likely that we will have to invest in getting glasses for Aimery as well since most of our family members need glasses for eyesight. I am so lucky to be able to have the means to buy glasses whenever he needs them - but what about the families that can’t afford glasses?

3 Positive Bedtime Habits for Kids

When Aimery started going back to school this year, I noticed that he was a lot more tired in the evenings and could no longer make it to his 9PM bedtime. This is the first year that Aimery is in all day care, and his preschool only has one hour naps, which has been an adjustment for Aimery’s sleep schedule.
