Fête en Blanc Lancaster

Fête en Blanc is a worldwide event where people gather in public spaces for invite-only dinner parties. All guests come dressed in white and bring all of their own food, wine, tables, chairs, and tablecloths. Only a certain amount of tickets are sold per event, and the location is made known to guests within 24 hours of the dinner. Tickets to the Lancaster event sold out in under a minute! Thankfully, my friends and I were able to grab tickets in time! Keep reading for the story behind this spontaneous dinner party and what we would do differently next time!

Self-Love Journey

Up until a year ago, I was obsessed with my appearance. I was constantly on a juice cleanse or a trendy diet, working out twice a day, and skipping meals to fit what I thought was my “best image”. That image was two sizes smaller then I am today. That image was missing out on ice cream dates with my toddler, going out with my friends, and eating carbs on thanksgiving. I made a decision a while ago to continue living a healthy lifestyle, while no longer being obsessed over a number on a scale. And I did it for Aimery! Aimery watches everything I do. He listens to every word I say. And I NEVER want him to hear me make negative comments about my body, because I never want him to have negative ideas about himself. My goal is to be an example of a healthy and happy lifestyle to him, so he can grow up confident knowing that his body is healthy, strong, and capable of climbing every mountain.

Beautiful Heated Outdoor Pool Eden Resort in Lancaster, PA

Over a month ago, we were working on a secret project for a popsicle company. They needed us to shoot campaign content in early May, so it was really hard for us to find somewhere with an open pool! Thankfully, Eden Resort opened their outdoor heated pool and Kidz Water Zone the weekend before, so we were able to book a night at their resort to create content. Eden Resort is just a short 30 minute drive from our home, and I absolutely loved being able to get away for the night without all of the travel that comes with normal vacations! I never understood the concept of a staycation until our trip to Eden, but let me tell ya, I’m a huge fan! ESPECIALLY with kids, staycations are where it’s at!

3 Unique Father’s Day Gift Ideas you Didn’t Think Of

With Father’s Day right around the corner, it’s always a struggle finding a gift for the man that has everything! My dad has been one of the most influential people in my life and has always gone above and beyond for me. Growing up, I watched him work really hard to provide for my family so that my mom could stay home with us. He is a now retired police officer and currently works full-time at our local church to positivity impact our community every day. When he isn’t working, he is playing golf, working on his jeep, helping others, and running around with Aimery. This year, I looked for more unique Father’s Day gifts besides the normal coffee mug or another T-Shirt!

Family-Friendly Encore Resort in Orlando, Florida

A couple weeks ago we traveled to Orlando to spend the week with some of my best blogger friends and their families. We stayed together in an eight bedroom house at Encore Resort with our own private pool, and it was just the vacation I needed! It was so fun being able to finally meet the girls I have been following on Instagram for over a year. Most of our kids were around the same age, so it was great having them all together to play in the pool. And of course, I loved being able to spend quality time with Aimery.

Our Favorite Summer Snack Ideas

Summer is finally here! Aimery had his last day of school last week, and now that we are home from our vacation, we are establishing our summer routine! Aimery’s school offers summer preschool two days a week, so he will still be keeping up with some consistency during the summer. When he isn’t at preschool, I like him to spend most of his days outside. We recently got a season’s pass to a nearby amusement park that has a waterpark, so we will be doing a bunch of road trips to the park! I also plan to get him a blow up pool so he can have his friends over to swim! With all of the running around he will be doing, I have been running to Walmart to stock up TONS of snacks for him. Keep reading for our favorite summer snack ideas!

5 Healthy Snack Options, Kid-Approved!

Who doesn’t love a good snack? We are always snacking in our home and also while on the go, so keeping healthy options in our kitchen is a total must. Aimery definitely loves his sweets, but I do NOT love the sugar crash that comes along with it! Even with the pickiest toddler (I know all about that!) you can still find snack options that work for both you and your kids. I have found 5 healthy snack options that work for both me and my picky toddler to keep us going through the day… Keep reading for the list!

Chocolate Tofu Pudding

Although it isn’t always easy, I do what I can to have healthy eating habits in our home. My son is such a picky eater, so it can be difficult to get him to eat foods that have a healthy twist. Normally he can smell out every vegetable I try to hide in his favorite foods - nothing gets by him! I have had to be reallyyy sneaky lately to hide nutrient-dense foods into his 5 food groups (you know - chicken nuggets, pizza, mac and cheese, yogurt, and dessert). This week, I managed to sneak something that may seem crazy into his chocolate… Tofu! Yes, you read that right!
